Driving with Gusto

A three-month lap around America in one of the greatest sports cars ever built to find the most amazing driving roads, music and scenery that this country has to offer. From the Porsche Driving School to the New Orleans Jazz Fest, from the Musicians' Village in the ninth ward to the Mojave with Jamaica Kincaid, from the Grand Canyon to Glacier National Park, I will be driving with a new kind of gusto . . . and working in tales of drag racing and lesbian bars whenever possible.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Just got to Zion and need to take my mother out for a decent dinner for mother's day. I would love to kick it up a notch and take her out for a "nice" dinner, but I am fairly certain that "decent" is the highest culinary hurdle you can clear in this town.
